Online Assessment Platform
MeritTrac is India's Largest Skills Assessment Company. MeritTrac designs and delivers assessments to evaluate abilities, skills and knowledge for both corporates & individuals.
With a large increase in MeritTrac’s client base, the number candidates using web based application to take tests has increased manifold. The current system faced problems in terms of the number of concurrent test-takers it can handle, the different types of tests it can support and the ability to work with an unreliable Internet connection.
To address the above mentioned issues it was decided to build a new Online Test platform. The solution also needed to have the capability to present different types of test questions with enhanced flexibility. Advanced UI Features with personalization were introduced to make it more user-friendly. Further the solution had to be robust, accurate and fast to meet the ever increasing demands of the clients. The system also needed to have interfaces to work in tandem with other internal applications that already existed.
Noesys was involved right from inception to end-delivery and go-live of the software. Its team of experts helped the client to conceptualize the design, perform functional testing and delivery of the platform. Various brainstorming sessions were held with different user groups and the stakeholders to list down the requirements.
Noesys helped the client in identifying the right sized IT vendor by sending out RFPs. The team then screened responses and evaluated vendors based on various parameters to finally select one vendor.
From there on, Noesys was fully responsible for being the single point of contact between the client and the development team. Numerous reviews of requirement specifications, system design and User Interfaces were held in the beginning and through each intermediate development stage with the client and the development team. Once the development was complete, thorough Functional testing was done to verify the end solution was in line with the initial specifications. Test cases were devised to determine if each component or business event performs in accordance to the specifications, responds correctly to all conditions that are defined in the order required to meet the business objectives of the system. All important criteria of Integration needs, performance and security were painstakingly checked to arrive at a robust and enhanced solution.

Additionally we also manage their software vendors keeping track of resource allocation, prioritization of issues and overall project management.
